CAPK Veterans & Supportive Services

CAPK Veteran Supportive Services helps veterans and their families facing homelessness or housing instability. Intake identifies an appropriate program.

Who can apply

Veteran status, housing situation, income and the particular housing program affect eligibility. Not every service uses identical rules.

What help is available

Services include housing support, case management and connections to essential resources. SSVF supports qualifying low-income veteran households.

Documents to prepare

  • Ask about veteran-service evidence.
  • Household income and current housing circumstances.
  • Any eviction or homelessness documentation available.

How to get started

  1. Request intake

Dial 211 or800-273-2275 as directed by CAPK VSS.

  2. Explain the housing need

State whether you lack housing or risk losing it.

  3. Complete screening

Discuss the program match, requested documents and available support.

After applying

Maintain contact with the caseworker. A referral does not reserve a housing unit.
