Who can apply
The agency reviews wage history, separation or reduced-hours circumstances and continuing weekly eligibility. Report your situation accurately, including earnings and availability for work.
What help is available
Approved claimants receive temporary payments through direct deposit or a benefit card. A new claim includes an unpaid waiting week that must still be certified and meet eligibility rules.
Documents to prepare
- Identity and Social Security information.
- Employer, wage and separation records.
- Work-search and weekly earnings records.
- Bank information if choosing direct deposit.
