Who can apply
Income-qualified owners and renters can be considered. Rental property owners may have to contribute to some improvement costs, so discuss permission and cost arrangements before work starts.
What help is available
An assessment identifies suitable measures, potentially including insulation, air sealing or equipment work. The service is not an unrestricted repair allowance or a promise to replace every appliance.
Documents to prepare
- Household income evidence requested by the regional provider.
- Your address and owner or rental information.
- Recent energy bills if requested.
- Landlord contact details and any required consent.
How to get started
Find the regional provider
The state’s July 2026 notice lists Community Services Agency, HELP of Southern Nevada and Rural Nevada Development Corporation, with different service areas.
Request household intake
Follow the Housing Division’s regional pathway and ask for the current household application.
Complete assessment
Allow the provider to assess the home and confirm approved work and any owner obligations.
After applying
Keep appointment details and ask about scheduling or waiting lists. Discuss maintenance instructions after installation; estimated savings are not a guaranteed reduction in your bill.
