What help is available
Approved work improves energy efficiency and may address qualifying heating-system or health-and-safety issues. The audit determines suitable measures; this is not an unrestricted renovation grant.

How to get started
Start the WAP request
Use DCAid; the state says its weatherization portal is open year-round.
Complete the portal application
Fill in qualifications, open the program application, upload records and sign before submitting.
Work with the local agency
Contact the agency serving your county about eligibility, property assessment and scheduling.
After applying
Save the application ID. If the portal shows an existing incomplete request, resume it rather than creating another. Ask the provider about waiting and approved work.

Can I apply without internet access?

Is the online qualification screen the whole application?
No. Complete the program application and submission steps too.
Does weatherization pay my current utility debt?
It arranges efficiency work; utility-bill assistance has a separate application.
