Monthly food purchasing benefits for approved households. The state EBT office lists eligible foods and seeds as covered purchases.
Documents to prepare
Prepare income, household membership and shelter or other relevant expense information. File a signed application first and ask the worker what proof is needed to complete review.
How to get started
- Select SNAP in WV PATH and create an account or use the available guest application route.
- You can establish the application filing date with name, residence address and a valid signature.
- Finish the full application, complete the interview and return requested proof.
- Explain any urgent food shortage to the county office and ask about expedited processing.
After applying
Watch for the interview letter and PATH messages. A partial application alone is not approval. Follow the case reporting and renewal instructions. For card loss or balance assistance, the EBT office lists 866-545-6502.
